Promises

Sop wants to put down strong roots to help us grow, which is why our sustainable, nature-nurturing approach is central to our philosophy. This is what we stand for:

Low-carbon and local

We believe a successful brand is a sustainable one. Our aim is to leave as small a footprint as possible, and everything we make is bottled, printed, and fulfilled in Norfolk and made by Norfolk folk. We are working towards becoming a carbon-neutral company.

Healing not harmful

We don’t compromise the planet for profit. All our products are certified cruelty-free, and vegan. We don’t use any GM ingredients, parabens, SLS, silicones, mineral oils, palm oil, or artificial colours or fragrances. And we never will.

Doing good – inside and out

Our aluminium containers don’t just look good. We use this infinitely recyclable metal for its lightweight, non-corrosive properties, its relatively short landfill lifecycle, and its energy-saving appeal. From the ease with which it can be recycled to the reduced carbon emissions required to transport it, it’s the perfect pairing for our products.*

*Please note: our larger products are compatible with a reusable plastic pump.

Making waves

We strive to challenge perceptions and celebrate authenticity. By embracing Norfolk vernacular and celebrating humble botanicals as sculptural art forms, we help others slow down, take notice, and truly appreciate the essence of a place.

Caring for cherished places

We want to encourage a connection to the wildlife we love. All our orders are accompanied by a small selection of wildflower or sunflower seeds, with packaging illustrations by local artist Ruth Howes. And we are proud to be an ‘Investor in Wildlife’ in partnership with local organisation Norfolk Wildlife Trust. We also support SUGi projects with their re-wilding initiatives. As well as donating products to London's homeless via ShowerBox.
